I am playing a 1920's Weissenborn acoustic lapslide guitar. This instrument called to me so deeply when i discovered it about 10 years ago, and so, the 'weissenborn' has taken me on a journey of deep expression over the years .Its like we were meant for eachother, an instrument 'soulmate' ..we express together. I have come to a place where i connect with myself and the instrument and feel so comfortable that i really feel i am 'channeling' this expression of sound and deep feelings. Inspiration which comes through so strongly that the music can bring energetic shivers through my body and tears to my eyes.
